There is something magical about the postpartum phase. However, as a new parent you find yourself caring for a brand new, always famished, sometimes inconsolable little being. New parents are often stretched super thin, both physically and emotionally. She loves being able to bridge the gap in support while building a new parent’s self confidence. She has been working in the field for over 13 years.
Hali grew up in St.Augustine, FL but currently splits her time between Miami, FL and Mexico City, Mexico. As a former ballet dancer she enjoys taking barre classes, traveling and creating delicious meals

Briana Smith, MPH
Briana Smith is an IBFA Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, and an IPPA Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Briana received her BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her passion for maternal and reproductive health sparked. After working as a birth doula, she recognized the lack of support families had during the postpartum period. Briana is passionate about providing evidence-based, unbiased education surrounding newborn care, newborn sleep, and infant feeding. This philosophy allows her families to make their own informed decisions, by arming them with the information they need to feel confident in their parenting roles.
Briana is the Advocacy Director for the International Cesarean Awareness Network, a helpline volunteer for Postpartum Support International (PSI) and she also facilitates the NICU Parents group for PSI. Briana has completed PSI’s Components of Care and is currently enrolled in a Human Lactation program to become an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Briana currently lives in North Carolina with her son and partner. She absolutely loves the beach (her dream is to own a boat one day), but also loves snuggling up in a blanket with hot chocolate in a log cabin in the winter time (ah, there’s her New Englander side!)

As well as raising her own six children, she has been a nanny to babies, toddlers, preschoolers and older children. Noelle has a varied background (music educator…yoga instructor) that allows her to connect with families just where they are. She’s been called a Baby Whisperer for her ability to bring calm into the chaos of raising a family.
Noelle knows firsthand that not all babies are alike, and she loves helping parents discover the best ways to connect with the new little person in their lives. The foundation of Noelle’s doula work is to “mother the new parent” by offering care, nurture and support. In a culture where opinions abound, Noelle provides evidence based information and allows the new family to grow on the course that feels right for them. Noelle’s passion for families doesn’t end with the newborn phase. She recognizes that families continue to need guidance and that “sounding board” as babies become toddlers, preschoolers and beyond!
